Helping You Learn Guitar the Smart Way
I’m Scott – a full-time guitar teacher based in Port Talbot, South Wales.
I’ve been teaching for over 15 years, helping students of all ages go from complete beginners to confident, independent players.
My Philosophy
I don’t just teach you songs. I teach you skills.
We work on the things that actually solve problems, so your playing improves for a reason, and it sticks.
Every lesson is a step forward. Every skill we learn gets put straight into a song. And yes, we have fun every time.

How I Teach
My approach is systematic, logical and creative.
We follow clear steps until you’ve got the essentials - chords, rhythm, scales, timing.
Then we tailor everything to your goals. Want to write songs? Improvise solos? Understand theory so it actually makes sense? That’s where we head next.

Keeping You Motivated
I’ve been through the same challenges you’ll face. Every student I’ve taught has too.
Learning guitar takes dedication, but it’s never impossible.
We’ll break big problems into manageable steps, give you the right exercises, and set a practice plan that fits your life. Not the other way around.

Results That Speak for Themselves

Over the years I’ve taught hundreds of students, from kids picking up a guitar for the first time to other guitar teachers looking to improve their teaching.
Some of my students are now full-time musicians.

One signed to Universal Records and is now writing music in Nashville.
Another passed Grade 8 at just 11 years old.
More Than Lessons
I also run live events where my students perform in front of an audience. Friends, family, and fellow musicians. It’s an incredible way to build confidence and see how far you’ve come.
